Senior Research Associate, Centre for Healthy Communities
I am a public health researcher focused on understanding health inequities and promoting social justice. My research interests are topically diverse and have included smoking, 'obesity,' the body/weight, movement, play, and place. I am committed to scholarship that is practice and policy-relevant, collaborative across disciplines, undertaken in partnership outside the university, and promotes health equity. I am a phenomenologist. However, I work across methodological approaches and bring a critical, experiential perspective to all of my work.
